On March 24, a private Leadership Dinner in London brought together leaders from the AdTech industry – organized by Renovata in collaboration with ZEREN and Cribb Executive Search.
As is often the case in AdTech, the discussion did not stay at surface level for long. Moderated by Paul Wright, the key questions quickly came into focus: where existing structures are under pressure, how roles are changing, and what this means for the further development of the market.
AI Transforms Work: From Operational to Judgment
A central theme of the evening was how AI is changing the nature of work. While operational tasks are increasingly automated, other skills are coming to the forefront: judgment, intuition, and prioritization. These are increasingly becoming the decisive differentiating factors in organizations.
Next-Generation Talent Under Pressure
The discussion about the next generation of talent also gained momentum.
The current pressure on junior pipelines feels less like a short-term dip and more like a sustainable shift. Entry-level roles are not only being paused but increasingly scaled back – raising the question of how future talent will be developed.
Complexity Questioned
The structural complexity of the industry is increasingly under debate.
Multi-level structures, numerous intermediate stages, and difficult-to-understand value chains are increasingly coming under pressure – especially in a market that demands more efficiency and transparency.
Leadership in a Changing Market
The AdTech market is in a phase of noticeable change.
It is precisely in this environment that Renovata’s AdTech Practice supports companies in classifying these dynamics, both in strategic alignment and in filling leadership and board positions.
An overview of our experience and mandates in the AdTech sector can be found in our current Track Record.
Outlook
The dinner is part of Renovata’s event program, which specifically facilitates peer-to-peer exchange among decision-makers.
Many thanks to all participants for their openness and strong impulses – we look forward to continuing the dialogue.
